Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has confirmed his exit from Turkish giants Fenerbahçe after four and a half years with the club.
The player made the announcement while speaking with newsmen in Benin after the final of the 2nd Bright Osayi U-13 Football Tournament.
Osayi-Samuel expressed gratitude for his time at Fenerbahçe, stating that the departure marked the end of a fruitful chapter in his career.
The versatile defender remained tight-lipped about his future plans but hinted that a decision would be made in the coming days, with possibilities of moving to England or Spain.
Osayi-Samuel praised the organisation of the U-13 tournament, which provided a platform for young talents to showcase their skills.
The tournament saw Okuta FC emerge as winners with a N1 million cash prize, while Sanco City FC and Nano FC took home N700,000 and N500,000, respectively. Osayi-Samuel expressed his desire to expand the tournament, potentially including a girls’ edition and other age brackets
