Chelsea stuns PSG 3-0 to win FIFA club world cup

Chelsea stunned Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Club World Cup, winning 3-0 at the MetLife Stadium.
Cole Palmer scored two goals and made another, while Joao Pedro added the third goal.
The match was attended by Donald Trump, the U.S. President, and a crowd of 81,118.
Chelsea dominated the game, with PSG struggling to create scoring opportunities.
Palmer opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, capitalising on a blocked shot by Malo Gusto to score.
He doubled the lead just eight minutes later, scoring with a low shot into the bottom corner.
Joao Pedro made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute, clipping a shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma after being supplied by Palmer.
PSG’s João Neves was shown a red card in the 86th minute for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair, further diminishing their chances of a comeback.
Chelsea’s victory earns them around $125 million in prize money, a significant reward for their memorable season.
The win marked Chelsea’s first Club World Cup title and added to their UEFA Conference League triumph and fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
Chelsea’s high-press system and intense defense stifled PSG’s attacks.
Cole Palmer was instrumental in Chelsea’s victory, scoring two goals and setting up Joao Pedro’s goal.
The team’s performance was a testament to their growth and determination under coach Enzo Maresca.
PSG’s failure to win the Club World Cup is a disappointment, despite their success in the UEFA Champions League and French league and cup double.
The team will have a month to regroup before facing Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup.
