Reigner FC crowned champions of Afriskaut Elite super league 2025

Reigner FC has been crowned the champion of the Afriskaut Elite Super League 2025 after a dramatic conclusion to the tournament.
The league, sponsored by Afriskaut/Ozi-Bako Foundation, brought together six teams to showcase young talents and provide exposure to scouts and clubs.
In the final match of the league, Flamingo FC staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Jordan FA 2-1 at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, Kogi.
However, the win was not enough to secure the championship title for Flamingo FC, as Reigner FC had already secured a 1-0 victory over FC Bako on Saturday, amassing 22 points.
The final standings saw Reigner FC emerge as champions with 22 points, followed by Jordan FA with 20 points, and Flamingo FC in third place with 17 points. Jordan FA demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, despite losing the final match.
Jordan FA’s performance was marked by notable wins, including a 2-1 victory over FC Bako, a 4-2 thrashing of FA Bako, and a 7-1 defeat of Royal Base FC.
The team’s commitment to developing young players and promoting football in Lokoja, Kogi, was evident throughout the tournament.
Jordan Haziel, founder and CEO of Jordan FA, expressed gratitude to partner BAKO for providing a platform to announce their Academy.
He emphasised the need for partnerships and sponsorships to support the academy’s growth and development.
Despite the loss in the final match, Haziel said Jordan FA is poised to bounce back stronger and will continue to provide opportunities for young players to grow and develop their talents.
