Sen. Olujimi pledges to rally Nigerians against Tinubu in 2027

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Senator Biodun Olujimi, has categorically stated that she will not be joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), despite the party’s impressive lineup of notable figures.
Instead, she has pledged to rally Nigerians to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Despite the calibre of persons in the ADC, Senator Olujimi said the party would not have been the right place for her to team up with.
When asked if she had considered joining the ADC, Olujimi was resolute in her response. “So, for me, it was a no-no,” she said, indicating that the party was not the right fit for her.
She said that her goals and aspirations would be better served elsewhere, while expressing her disillusionment with the PDP, saying that it was better to leave the party than to stay and work for the benefit of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In her opinion, the PDP’s current state made it challenging for members to achieve their objectives, and she has seemingly given up on the party’s prospects.
The senator’s comments come ahead of the 2027 presidential election, where President Tinubu would likely be seeking re-election.
