Sudan Stun Nigeria with 4–0 rout To Reach CHAN PAMOJA 2024 knockout stage 

Sudan has delivered a significant upset in the CAF Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) PAMOJA 2024 tournament, defeating Nigeria 4-0 in Zanzibar.

The victory secures Sudan’s place at the top of Group D and eliminates the Super Eagles with a game to spare.
Sudan’s Abdel Yagoub’s shot hit the post and rebounded off Leonard Ngenge into his own net in the 25th minute, giving Sudan an early lead.
-Captain Khdir converted a penalty in the 43rd minute after Ngenge handled the ball in the box, doubling Sudan’s lead.
Yagoub scored twice in the second half, with a composed finish in the 55th minute and another goal seven minutes later, sealing Sudan’s 4-0 victory.
Nigeria began the match with urgency, forcing early corners and having shooting opportunities, but they couldn’t capitalize on their chances.
 Nigeria’s coach Eric Chelle made substitute changes in the second half, but they failed to spark a comeback.
Nigerian players, including Steven Manyo and Raymond Tochukwu, had late efforts blocked or saved by Sudan’s goalkeeper Mohamed Abooja.
Sudan and defending champions Senegal are level on four points in Group D.
– Congo has two points, while Nigeria is bottom without a point from two games.
– Only the top two teams from the group will advance, confirming Nigeria’s early exit from the tournament.
