The Speaker of the Delta House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dennis Guwor, has felicitated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, on his landmark birth anniversary.
The speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke described Chief Ogbuku as a worthy son of the Niger Delta, and a great ambassador of the Ijaw nation.
Rt. Hon. Guwor while congratulating the NDDC boss as he turns 50, noted that ”turning 50 is a profound milestone and a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed purpose”.
According to Guwor, who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, Chief Ogbuku’s golden jubilee of life is not just a celebration of age, but a celebration of impact, his journey so far speaks volumes.
He noted that the Ogbuku leadership at the helm of the NDDC has been marked by a bold commitment to the transformation of the Niger Delta as he has consistently demonstrated vision, integrity, and an uncommon sense of duty.
The Speaker on behalf of family, constituents and the State legislature, prayed to God to grant Chief Ogbuku continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance in future endeavours.
Guwor also prayed that the golden jubilee strengthens the NDDC MD’s resolve to continue being a vessel for sustainable development, peace, and prosperity across the Niger Delta and beyond.
