The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
In a statement issued by Yunusa Abdullahi, NGF’s Director of Media and Strategic Communications, the forum, led by Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, praised Ewhrudjakpo for his dedication to public service and his significant contributions to the development of Bayelsa State.
AbdulRazaq described Ewhrudjakpo as a visionary deputy who demonstrated unwavering commitment to good governance, social justice, and the welfare of the people. He said Ewhrudjakpo’s values and dedication would leave a lasting mark on colleagues, friends, and future leaders.
The NGF extended condolences to the people of Bayelsa, the late deputy governor’s family, friends, and Governor Douye Diri, praying that Ewhrudjakpo’s legacy of humility and service continued to inspire generations to come.
