NFF unveils ‘Naija 4 The Win’ campaign ahead of 2025 AFCON in Morocco

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially launched the Naija 4 The Win campaign as part of its build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with the Super Eagles set to compete in Morocco amid renewed optimism and a strong determination to reclaim continental supremacy.
The campaign, unveiled on Monday, is aimed at galvanising nationwide and diaspora support for the national team as preparations intensify for Africa’s biggest football tournament.
It comes against the backdrop of Nigeria’s impressive but ultimately unfinished run at the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, where the Super Eagles finished as runners-up after narrowly missing out on a fourth continental title.
Nigeria, a three-time AFCON champion, enters the Morocco 2025 tournament with a rich history and high expectations.
Previous triumphs in Nigeria (1980), Tunisia (1994), and South Africa (2013) remain landmark moments in the nation’s football story, and the NFF believes the upcoming competition presents another opportunity to add a new chapter to that legacy.
According to the federation, the Naija 4 The Win initiative is more than a slogan.
”It is a rallying call intended to unite players, officials and supporters around a shared ambition: returning the AFCON trophy to Nigeria.
”The campaign seeks to rekindle national belief in the Super Eagles’ capacity to rise to the occasion and deliver success on the continental stage.
The team is currently under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Sékou Chelle, who is working closely with the NFF and the National Sports Commission to fine-tune preparations.
Officials say the technical crew is focused on building a balanced squad anchored on discipline, tactical organisation, experience and the integration of emerging talents capable of complementing established stars.
Speaking on the team’s preparations, NFF sources said lessons learned from the 2023 AFCON final defeat have been carefully reviewed, with emphasis placed on improving mental resilience, squad depth and overall performance consistency.
The goal, they stressed, is not merely to compete but to surpass the last outing and secure the ultimate prize.
The football body also called on Nigerians at home and abroad to lend their full support to the Super Eagles throughout the tournament.
Fans were encouraged to stand behind the team from viewing centres and homes across the country, as well as from the stands in Morocco, noting that sustained national backing plays a vital role in motivating players on the pitch.
As preparations continue, the NFF described the Super Eagles as focused, united and driven by a collective sense of purpose.
With expectations rising and confidence building, the federation believes the team is ready to confront the challenges ahead.
The message, officials say, is clear: the journey to Morocco has begun with intent, the objective is well defined, and the nation is once again being called upon to believe.
Naija—let us do it again.
