Delta CSO coalition backs Tinubu for second term

A coalition of civil society organisations in Delta State has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing his leadership and ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy.
The endorsement was announced in a statement issued on Friday in Asaba by the coalition operating under the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Group.
The statement, jointly signed by the group’s National Coordinator, Deacon Okezi Odugala, and Secretary, Mr Ekenem Omosor, praised the President for pursuing policies focused on national development despite prevailing economic and global challenges.
According to the coalition, Tinubu has shown courage by implementing far-reaching reforms designed to achieve long-term economic stability and sustainable growth.
The group highlighted ongoing investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, security, and social welfare, describing them as evidence of the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.
It also commended the Renewed Hope Agenda, saying it has created a foundation for inclusive growth, stronger governance, and sustainable national development.
The coalition urged Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the administration’s reform agenda, expressing optimism that the policies would deliver greater benefits over time.
It further called on civil society organisations, the private sector, and other stakeholders to work with the Federal Government to strengthen democratic institutions, promote national unity, and accelerate socio-economic development.
Reaffirming its confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, the coalition pledged continued partnership in promoting good governance, accountability, and sustainable development, stressing that collaboration remains essential to Nigeria’s progress.
