Omo-Agege calls on Oborevwori to unite Deltans for APC’s 2027 victory

GAs the 2027 general elections approach, Deputy Senate President and prominent Delta State politician, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to adopt an inclusive approach to rallying support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Speaking at a recent political gathering, Omo-Agege emphasized the need to “carry everyone along” to secure a resounding victory for the party in the next electoral cycle.
Highlighting his own political influence, Omo-Agege reminded party stakeholders of his widespread grassroots support, referencing the more than 240,000 Deltans who voted for him during the 2023 governorship election.
He described this following as a “crucial asset” for APC’s future electoral prospects in Delta State.
“It is indisputable that as the immediate past governorship candidate of this party, I am privileged to have a huge organic political following in our state,” Omo-Agege stated.
He called on all party members to leverage this support base to strengthen the APC’s standing and ensure collective success.
Political observers suggested that Omo-Agege’s intervention could significantly shape the party’s strategy in Delta State ahead of the 2027 elections, particularly in consolidating grassroots mobilization and fostering unity among party leaders.
