Hoodlums attack Ondo APC stakeholders’ meeting, injure party officials

A meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders, in Akure, Ondo State,
was violently disrupted when armed hoodlums stormed the party secretariat.
The attackers reportedly injured the state party chairman, Ade Adetimehin, and other officials, forcing participants to flee.
Adetimehin alleged that the assailants were linked to the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and accused them of claiming that the governor “owns the party.”
Personal belongings, including his phones and wristwatch, were reportedly taken during the attack.
Some of the injured were hospitalised, while the police have yet to release a statement on the incident.
The meeting had been organised to prepare for the APC ward congress in Ondo State. The disruption highlights ongoing tensions and violent confrontations within state-level party politics.
