Nigeria Embassy advises citizens in Kuwait, Bahrain to stay vigilant

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the State of Kuwait has issued an advisory urging Nigerian nationals residing in Kuwait and Bahrain to exercise caution and remain alert amid ongoing regional developments.
In a circular dated March 1, 2026, referenced NKT/GA/C/004/Vol. I, the Embassy which holds concurrent accreditation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, called on citizens to strictly follow safety guidelines and official advisories issued by local authorities.
The advisory stressed the importance of staying informed through credible news sources and official government communications in both countries.
The mission assured the Nigerian community that it is actively monitoring the situation and maintaining close contact with leaders of Nigerian associations across Kuwait and Bahrain.
To enhance real-time communication and support, the Embassy announced the establishment of a dedicated mobile and WhatsApp line, enabling citizens to directly reach out for assistance or guidance.
Nigerians seeking further information or requiring urgent assistance were advised to contact the Embassy via email at nigeriakuwait@yahoo.com or through the telephone and WhatsApp numbers officially provided by the mission.
The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all Nigerian citizens within its jurisdiction and pledged to provide timely updates as events unfold.
