NASME Delta holds women’s conference in Sapele



The Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) has announced plans to host its 2026 International Women’s Day Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Sapele.
The event, designed to promote women’s empowerment and strengthen their role in economic and social development, will bring together female leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and community stakeholders from across the state.
Organisers said the conference, themed “Give to Gain: Rights, Justice Action for All Women and Girls,” will focus on advancing equality, encouraging women’s participation in leadership and supporting opportunities for women in business and public life.
The programme would feature keynote presentations and discussions led by notable speakers including NASME Delta State Chairman, Judith Ojevwe Nwachukwu; Augusta Anyanwu-Egbom; CSP Temi Agbede; and Prophetess Fanny Ekpekurede.
The speakers are expected to share insights on leadership, security, entrepreneurship and personal development.
According to the organisers, the gathering will provide a platform for networking, mentorship and knowledge-sharing among women in business and other sectors, while also highlighting the importance of women’s contributions to economic growth.
The conference is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Tosenat 3 Arena, located opposite Okirighwre Market in Sapele, Delta State.
Participants would include women entrepreneurs, professionals, youth groups and members of the public interested in promoting women’s rights and expanding opportunities for women and girls.
The organisers said the event is expected to inspire collaboration and practical action aimed at strengthening women’s participation in business, leadership and community development.
