NDC presents alternative political platform
Dr. Ossai Annantram, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on members of the Ijaw community in Kwale, the administrative headquarters of Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, to actively participate in the party’s ongoing membership drive.
Addressing community leaders during an engagement in the area, Dr. Annantram urged eligible voters to take advantage of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s extended deadline for online party registration.
He emphasised the need for increased grassroots mobilisation to ensure wider participation in the NDC’s enrollment process.
The party stalwart highlighted that the NDC offers what he described as a “rancour-free” political environment, encouraging prospective members to align with a platform he said is built on unity, transparency, and ideological clarity.
Speaking in his traditional capacity as the Okilolo of Ushie Kingdom, Dr. Annantram noted that the NDC distinguishes itself from other political parties through its strong ideological foundation and commitment to democratic values.
According to him, the party represents a clear departure from conventional political structures in the country.
He further praised the leadership and vision of Senator Seriake Dickson, describing him as instrumental in uniting committed democrats across Nigeria under a common purpose.
Dr. Annantram stated that the movement is driven by what he termed a “divine mandate” aimed at building a new Nigeria that reflects the aspirations of its people.
Reiterating the party’s guiding principle, he concluded by affirming that the NDC remains committed to “service to the people.”
