Melania Trump denies link to Epstein

The U.S. First Lady, Melania Trump, has denied any connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, stating she was never involved in or aware of his crimes.
She made the remarks on Thursday during a rare on-camera statement at the White House in Washington, DC, where she directly addressed long-standing speculation linking her to Epstein.
Speaking at the White House briefing room, Melania Trump said claims tying her to Epstein were false and urged the public to disregard misinformation circulating on social media.
“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” she said during the White House statement.
She added at the same White House appearance that she had no knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of victims and had never participated in any related activity.
“I am not Epstein’s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,” she said.
She also clarified that she had met her husband, President Donald Trump, independently before any contact with Epstein, rejecting claims suggesting otherwise.
“I have never been on Epstein’s plane and never visited his private island,” she added.
The First Lady further called for public congressional hearings for survivors of Epstein’s abuse, urging lawmakers to allow victims to testify under oath.
Jeffrey Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, continues to be the subject of extensive public scrutiny and political controversy in the United States.
