NDC attracts prominent political figures nationwide

Senator Seriake Dickson, founder of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has announced the defection of prominent political figures into the party as part of its ongoing nationwide engagements.
”Today, in continuation of ongoing consultations with key political leaders across the country, the party leadership received Comrade Babatunde F. Alli, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), alongside his teaming supporters, into the NDC.
”Comrade Alli, a seasoned political activist mentored by the late Balarabe Musa, devoted over two decades of service to the PRP.
”During that period, he served twice as National Secretary and most recently as Deputy National Chairman before resigning his membership to join the NDC. ”
”He was accompanied by several former PRP officers drawn from different states of the federation, ” he added.
Dickson, former governor of Bayelsa State, expressed appreciation to the National Chairman of the NDC, Senator Moses Cleopas, and members of the National Working Committee for confirming Alli as the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, pending ratification by Congress.
The party also received Professor Mohammed Sani Yahaya, accompanied by former Permanent Secretary, Mr. Musa Istiphanus, from Taraba State.
They joined the party alongside key leaders from the state.
The leadership directed them to work closely with the State Chairman and officers of the NDC in Taraba to strengthen and reposition the party in the state.
In the same vein, the party welcomed Hon. Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former member of the House of Representatives and former official of the Federal Code of Conduct Bureau, as well as a notable political figure in Edo State, who has also joined the NDC.
Dickson thanked the new members for believing in the vision of the NDC and urged them to commit their energy, experience, and networks toward building a stronger party capable of providing credible leadership and a better future for Nigeria.
