Hon. Ogun meets Dickson in Abuja consultations

 

Hon. Sergius Ogun, aspirant for the Edo Central Senatorial seat, has met with the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and former Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, in Abuja as part of consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The visit was held as part of ongoing engagements by Ogun to strengthen political alliances and deepen internal party cohesion ahead of the next electoral cycle.

According to information from the meeting, discussions centered on party strategy, unity, and key development priorities affecting Edo Central Senatorial District.

Ogun used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to inclusive leadership, noting his intention to work closely with stakeholders across party structures to reinforce the NDC’s presence and electoral strength in the district.

Both political figures reportedly emphasised the importance of dialogue, internal cohesion, and a people-oriented approach as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.
