Bayern Munich secure defender Nathaniel Brown on 5-year deal

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Germany international Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the 23-year-old penning a five-year contract that runs until June 2031.

Brown described the move as a dream come true, saying joining Bayern represents a major milestone in his career and expressing pride at signing for one of the world’s biggest clubs.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said the club had tracked the defender for some time and were impressed by his rapid development, versatility, and performances on the global stage, including at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Eberl, Brown’s ability to operate in both defence and midfield makes him a valuable addition who will strengthen the squad’s tactical options.

Brown joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Bundesliga 2 side Nuremberg in 2024 and quickly established himself, making 75 competitive appearances, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists across two seasons.

On the international stage, he has earned eight caps for Germany since his debut in October 2025 under Julian Nagelsmann. He scored his first international goal in a 7–1 win over Curaçao and impressed with consistent performances at the World Cup.

The transfer marks another major addition for Bayern as they continue to reinforce their squad for domestic and European challenges.
