Leaders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) from the North-West geopolitical zone have held a strategic meeting with the party’s National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, to discuss the expansion of the party and the future of political activities in the region.
The meeting, which was held at the residence of Senator Dickson, brought together party chairmen from Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States.
During the engagement, the party leaders reviewed key issues affecting the growth of the NDC in the North-West, including strengthening party structures, promoting unity among members and improving coordination across the region.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the state chairmen to brief the National Leader on the progress of the party’s activities and efforts to deepen its presence at the grassroots level.
The NDC Chairman in Kano State, Hon. Husaini Mai Riga, who also serves as the ALGON Chairman for the party’s North-West political structure, assured Senator Dickson that the party was steadily expanding its influence across the geopolitical zone.
Mai Riga said the leadership of the party in the region remained committed to building a strong and united political platform capable of responding to the aspirations of its members and supporters.
He further reaffirmed the commitment of the North-West leadership to strengthening internal cooperation, consolidating party structures and working collectively towards success in future elections.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the party leaders to sustain collaboration and continue efforts aimed at positioning the NDC as a stronger political force in the North-West.
