Pan Atlantic University‘s EDC, NGO partner to train 300 women

The Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in partnership with Illmi Children’s Fund (ICF), a non-profit organisation is set to train 300 women on basic entrepreneurship skills for free in Abuja.
ICF’s Executive Director, Mrs. Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
NAN reports that the ICF through its Transforming Nigerian Youths Training Programme will train young women entrepreneurs for three days at the National Commission for Colleges of Education, Central Business District, Abuja.
The free training offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their entrepreneurial journey.
Participants will engage in interactive entrepreneurship sessions such as Accounting, Customer Service, Business Modelling, Growth Planning, Human Resources Management, Legal and Regulatory Matters, Marketing, Operations Management and Strategic Planning.
Augie-Abdulmumin expressed joy at the partnership with the EDC for the privilege to equip women with entrepreneurship skills.
She said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with EDC in this vital endeavour to empower female entrepreneurs in Abuja from April 17 to April 19.
“By combining forces with EDC, we can leverage their expertise in entrepreneurship training to make a significant difference in the lives of the participating women.”
Mrs. Nnenna Ugwu, the Alumni Director at EDC, noted that exceptional participants would have the opportunity to be trained further.
“Following the training, select exceptional participants will have the opportunity to further enhance their entrepreneurial skills through a three-month mentorship programme.
“This initiative aligns with EDC’s commitment to empower entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive in today’s competitive business environment,” Ugwu said.
