Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, has congratulated Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as he clocks 57 years on April 27.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Oborevwori lauded the Accountant -turned- politician for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Delta State.
He said that Joel-Onowakpo, a former Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council and former Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, made invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Delta State.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and Senator Representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, FCA, on the occasion of your 57th birth anniversary.
“In addition to your priceless and lasting contributions to the advancement of the country, you have consistently shown a strong commitment to serving humanity by being industrious, focused, and dedicated,” the governor said.
Oborevwori expressed optimism that Joel-Onowakpo would contribute his quota towards advancing Delta to the enviable state of our dreams.
He prayed God Almighty to guide, protect and grant Senator Joel-Onowakpo more fruitful years.
