A growing call has emerged for the support and endorsement of Amb. Obukome Elaine Ibru-Mukoro as a leading candidate for the Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency seat, with advocates emphasising the need for inclusivity and gender balance in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Proponents of her candidacy argued that the moment has arrived to reshape existing narratives and address gender inequality within governance, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by Bola Tinubu.
They maintain that greater female representation is essential for a more balanced and responsive political system.
Ibru-Mukoro has been described by supporters as a figure of strong character and integrity.
According to her media team, she is “accountable, reliable, determined, welcoming, loyal, and not easily manipulated,” adding that she remains grounded and connected to her roots.
They further portrayed her as “kind, generous, patient, a lover of peace, and the epitome of unity.”
Advocates also highlighted her vision for governance, noting that she is committed to building systems that would provide tangible relief and development for constituents across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu.
