Dickson, Obi Signal Fresh Cooperation Drive

The founder and National leader of Nigeria Democratic Congress, Senator Seriake Dickson has announced the resolution of internal concerns within the Labour Party following a closed-door meeting with the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Dickson disclosed that Obi, accompanied by other senior party leaders, visited him for discussions that lasted nearly three hours.

According to the former Bayelsa State governor, the meeting focused on reviewing the party’s activities and addressing recent issues that had generated concern among members.

He stated that all matters discussed were resolved amicably, reaffirming the leaders’ commitment to the party’s unity and collective goals.

Dickson noted that despite emerging disagreements, party leaders had always shared a common vision of securing electoral victories and advancing their political agenda.

He said the discussions helped clarify concerns and establish a framework for handling similar issues in the future.

The senator urged party members to refrain from bickering, accusations, and divisive conduct that could undermine the party’s progress.

He emphasised the need for members to remain focused on the broader objective of strengthening the party and presenting a united front.

Dickson also assured supporters that consultations among key stakeholders would continue to ensure cohesion and effective leadership within the party.

He reaffirmed the commitment of party leaders to their mission of building a better future for Nigerians through responsible governance and democratic engagement.
