Residents of Bonny Island in Rivers State were hosted to the best of fun on Sunday, December 15, 2024, as members, friends, guests and family of District 9141 Rotary Club of Grand Bonny enjoyed the best of Magic of Rotary
It was an incredible moment at the Family of Rotary Party where fellowship, unity, and the spirit of service were celebrated. It was, indeed, an evening filled with laughter, great conversations, and joyful moments that strengthened the Rotary family bond.
In ber brief speech, Rtn. Wilcox expressed her appreciation, saying, “Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to the success of this event.
“Together, we truly embody the Rotary spirit of Service Above Self. There’s to many more celebrations and impactful moments ahead!”
Wilcox in her welcomed address said, “The event was to bind with family and friends and also to appreciate members who have worked so hard during the 1st Semi annual of the the Rotary year.
To make the day a remarkable one, the President, Rtn Sotonye Wilcox ensired there were family games, raffle draw, with many winners going 
home with gifts. There was also sip and paint section, which came out very hilarious.
The Rotarian President, who spoke with the media, said, “It was indeed a memory to remember.” From shared meals to shared memories, the gathering reminded us of the power of community and friendship in making the world a better place.”
A open air movie night was the climax of event, which had all attendees glued to the screen with their popcorn.
The day began with the President, Rotary Club of Grand Bonny, Rtn. Sotonye Wilcox, welcoming all present as everyone sang the Rotary songs to lighten the environment.
Then the family games, which include slide and ladder, foot and palm print, monopoly, ludo, whot, charade, etc. There was also a raffle draw in which participants won presents, then the sip and paint before Movie at Night to climax the occasion.
