ATPN endorses ‘Things Fall Apart’ festival 2025 as major tourism event

The Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) has given its official endorsement to the “Things Fall Apart” Festival 2025, recognizing it as a significant national tourism event that showcases Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
The National President of ATPN, Adetunji Fadina, said this in a statement issued by the Deputy President of the association, Mr Wilson Uche, on Saturday, in Lagos.
According to Fadina, the festival will be organised by the Centre for Memories in Enugu.
Fadina, who was represented by Uche, expressed the association’s admiration for the centre’s dedication to memory, identity and heritage.
He highlighted the centre’s vital role in promoting sustainable tourism throughout Nigeria, not only in the South-East.
Fadina pledged the association’s collaboration and support for the festival, also announcing the centre’s admission into ATPN.
The Executive Director of the Centre, Mr Iheanyi Igboko, said the visit was a crucial step in fostering collaboration between Nigeria’s tourism sector and cultural preservation initiatives.
Igboko expressed enthusiasm for the burgeoning partnership with ATPN, and the association’s commitment to strengthening ties with stakeholders in the tourism and cultural sectors.
Things Fall Apart Festival 2025 is scheduled to hold from June 29 to July 5, in Enugu State.
