Alleged (IPOB) member flee to safety

13th April 2023 has remained a dark day for Mr. Ajeboghouku Omatseye Collins, Obina Chazo, Tobechuku Azuka, and several other members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who said they were arrested and detained for peacefully protesting for the release of their leader Nnamdi kanu.
They said the protest was going peacefully till about 45 minutes before it was hijacked by persons who introduced themselves as security operatives, who displaced and arrested some members of the group.
According to a credible source who pleaded anonymity, the security are also reviewing more than 120 cases of individuals believed to have been part of the protest.
He said Mr. Omatseye Collins was allegedly forced into hiding and constantly on the move, before he eventually disappeared and managed to escape the country to safety.
Meanwhile, the Delta State Police Command, when contacted has dismissed the story, saying they are not aware of such incident.
