Ndokwa Neku Union urges FG to establish teaching hospital for federal university

The apex sociocultural and socioeconomic organisation of the Ndokwa ethnic nationality in Delta State, the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), has commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the establishment of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
In a statement made available to Journalists, the President General of NNU, Chief Amechi Asugwuni, noted that the University would not only be economically beneficial to Ndokwa land, but also useful to the state and the country  in general, in the training of medical and health workers.
Chief Asugwuni, however, urged the Federal Government to consider the establishment of a Teaching Hospital that would provided the needed medical services and necessary support to the University.
The PG also called on the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the federal institution received adequate attention and support to facilitate its early take off.
He further sued for the collective efforts of all Ndokwa sons and daughters towards securing approval for the establishment of a Teaching Hospital to enhance academic activities, especially practicals, in the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale.
