Abuja-Kaduna Train Derailment: Tinubu pledges support for victims

President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the derailment of the Abuja-Kaduna passenger train that occurred on Tuesday.
Despite being on an official visit to Brazil, President Tinubu said he has been receiving updates on the incident and is awaiting a full briefing to ensure swift action and support for all affected.
Posting on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, the President said: “I am deeply saddened by this incident,” expressing his heartfelt prayers for the injured, their families, and all passengers who experienced distress.
“I am staying updated on the latest developments and await a full briefing to ensure swift action and support for all affected,” he added.
Tinubu assured that the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) was already addressing the situation, working to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
The Abuja-Kaduna train derailed on Tuesday, leaving some passengers injured and shaken.
