Kaduna State Police have confirmed that two officers were killed during an attack by suspected bandits at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Zonkwa, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.
According to DSP Mansir Hassan, the command’s Public Relations Officer, investigations are ongoing to uncover the full details of the assault, which took place on Friday evening.
Reports indicatedvthat the assailants attempted to free detained suspects accused of vandalism in Kachia Local Government Area, although those suspects were not held at the Zonkwa station.
Authorities have pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice as the probe continues.
