Tinubu holds strategic meeting with Taraba governor Agbu Kefas

President Bola Tinubu met with Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a strategic discussion, marking Kefas’s first visit since joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Accompanied by APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, Governor Kefas held a closed-door meeting with the president.

The discussions were believed to cover political and security issues, although no official statements were made following the session.

Governor Kefas’s formal reception into the APC had been originally scheduled for November 19, but the event was postponed due to the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State, who have since been released safely.

This visit comes shortly after Kefas defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, signaling his growing alignment with the ruling party ahead of future political engagements.
