Delta deputy governor commiserates with late Sen. Nwaoboshi family

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, on Sunday led a delegation of political leaders to Asaba to commiserate with the family of the late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
During the condolence visit to the family residence, Onyeme expressed deep sorrow over the death of the former lawmaker, describing the news as sudden and painful.
He noted that the passing of Nwaoboshi was a great loss, not only to his family but also to Delta State and the political community at large.
The deputy governor encouraged the widow, Mrs. Judith Nwaoboshi, to draw strength from the legacy of service and integrity left behind by her husband, whom he described as a highly respected and influential political figure.
He urged the family to remain strong and united, especially for the sake of the children, while accepting the will of God.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mrs. Nwaoboshi appreciated the Deputy Governor and members of his entourage for identifying with them in their moment of grief.
As part of the visit, Onyeme signed the condolence register, paying tribute to the late senator and offering prayers for the peaceful repose of his soul.
Other prominent personalities who also signed the register included former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay, and Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon.
