Tinubu schedules Adamawa visit Monday

President Bola Tinubu will visit Adamawa State on Monday for a one-day working trip focused on inaugurating infrastructure and meeting key stakeholders.

The presidency announced the visit on Sunday, outlining plans for project commissioning and high-level engagements across the state capital and surrounding communities.

During the trip, the President would inaugurate projects in Yola and Jimeta, including the newly completed eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba to the capital.

He is also scheduled to commission a model school covering pre-primary, primary and junior secondary levels, alongside a multipurpose hall and other public facilities.

Additional projects slated for inauguration include a remodelled High Court, a newly constructed officers’ complex and a refurbished Government House.

The President is expected to meet government officials, traditional rulers and community leaders before returning to Abuja at the end of the visit.

The Adamawa engagement comes barely two days after Tinubu’s official trip to Kebbi State, where he attended cultural and developmental events.

In Kebbi, the President participated in the grand finale of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour.

The festival, recently revived after a six-year break, is recognised internationally for celebrating Nigeria’s cultural heritage.

While in the state, Tinubu commissioned several projects, including the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat and the Birnin Kebbi Central Motor Park.

He also inaugurated the Kauran Gwandu College of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences in Ambursa, underscoring federal support for healthcare and education development.

The President praised Kebbi’s leadership for aligning with the administration’s development agenda and reaffirmed support for tourism, agriculture and rural growth initiatives.
