Ondo security agencies arrest 99 suspects during coordinated raids

The Ondo State Police Command, alongside the Nigerian Army’s 32 Brigade Artillery, NSCDC Ondo Command, DSS, and the Amotekun Corps, has announced the arrest of 99 individuals involved in various criminal activities across the state.
Spokesperson DSP Abayomi Jimoh said the intelligence-driven operations targeted criminal hideouts, black spots, and areas notorious for armed robbery, theft, burglary, cultism, and related crimes.
During the raids, authorities recovered suspected criminal tools, stolen properties, and other incriminating items from the suspects.
The arrested persons are currently undergoing screening and profiling, and those found culpable will be charged to court, Jimoh noted.
He urged residents to support security agencies by providing timely and credible information to aid ongoing efforts in reducing crime.
“The police will spare no effort in ensuring that all perpetrators of crime in the state are brought to justice,” DSP Jimoh added.
These coordinated operations reflect the state’s ongoing commitment to improving security and public safety in Ondo.
