Davido confirms guest artists for 2026 London festival

Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has officially revealed the guest artists who will join him at his much-anticipated Davido & Friends Festival, set to take place at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London.
The announcement, made via X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, March 27, 2026, ends weeks of speculation and signals one of the largest pan-African lineups ever assembled for a single UK concert.
“Joining me on the Crystal Palace Bowl stage are some of Africa’s finest talents and rising stars,” Davido wrote in the announcement.
The official eight-act roster includes Nigerian singer-songwriter Omah Lay, Ghanaian rap sensation Black Sherif, rising Afropop artist Gabzy, UK-based act TXC, duo Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, longtime Davido collaborator ECool, fast-rising star Morravey, and street-hop artist Boi Chase.
The lineup blends established names with breakthrough performers. Omah Lay, who has cemented himself as one of Nigeria’s most consistent exports, brings undeniable commercial appeal.
Black Sherif, whose Drill-infused Highlife sound has captivated audiences from Accra to London, adds a distinctly Ghanaian flavour to what is otherwise a predominantly Nigerian bill.
Jazzwrld & Thukuthela represent the growing continental reach of the festival, while TXC and Boi Chase nod to the thriving UK-African music scene that has long embraced Davido’s sound.
The singer’s announcement has already shocked and excited fans, who took to social media to praise the mix of talent.
“This is going to be a historic gathering of African music in London,” one fan tweeted.
Industry insiders say the festival aims to showcase Africa’s diversity in music, combining Afrobeats, street-hop, and Afropop in a single high-profile event.
Observers noted that the inclusion of both established artists and rising stars reflects Davido’s continued commitment to promoting African music on global stages.
The 2026 Davido & Friends Festival is expected to draw thousands of attendees and further cement the singer’s position as one of Africa’s leading music ambassadors.
