He also announced her appointment as a National Vice Chairman of the NDC, noting that the meeting included her associates.

Highlighting the party’s commitment to inclusiveness, Dickson further stated that the NDC was deliberately promoting women’s participation through affirmative action.

According to him, “Efforts are ongoing to integrate more women into party structures and encourage them to seek elective offices”, a development he said is already attracting interest from qualified and capable women nationwide, alongside active youth participation.

The senator representing Bayelsa West further revealed that he hosted a delegation of leaders and chairmen of the NNPP from the North East, appreciating their interest in joining the NDC.

Reflecting on earlier engagements, Dickson said he had also received stakeholders and supporters from Kogi State, who expressed solidarity with the party and support for Pharm. Emmanuel Adejo Amodu’s aspiration to contest a seat in the House of Representatives.
