Speaker of the Delta House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Dennis Guwor, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his 63rd birthday anniversary.
Guwor, who also chairs the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, praised the governor’s leadership and dedication to the growth of Delta State.
In a goodwill message released through his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker described Oborevwori as a leader whose vision continues to inspire confidence among the people.
He said the governor’s commitment to development and good governance has accelerated progress across different sectors of the state.
According to Guwor, Governor Oborevwori has remained a symbol of humility, service, and purposeful leadership throughout his public career.
The Speaker commended the administration’s MORE Agenda, noting that it has brought significant improvements to infrastructure and social development.
He said the government has recorded notable achievements in education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and other critical sectors.
Guwor stated that the benefits of these initiatives are being felt in communities across the state, contributing to economic growth and improved living standards.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly to continue supporting the governor through legislation, oversight, and effective representation.
The Speaker said the partnership between the executive and legislative arms remains vital to sustaining democratic governance and development in Delta State.
Offering prayers for the governor, Guwor wished him wisdom, strength, sound health, and many more years of service to the people.
