Delta Assembly Committee holds public hearing on Administration of Urban, Regional Planning, Urban Renewal and Building Control Activity Bill

Public hearing on a bill for a law to repeal, re-enact the Administration of Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Development, Urban Renewal and Building, Control Activities in the State, Establishment of Urban and Regional Planning Board is slated for Tuesday, April 30.

This is contained in a statement by the Chairman, House Committee on Urban Renewal, Chief Oloye Pereotu on Thursday in Asaba.

Pereotu said in pursuance of the committee’s mandate, would entertain/welcome contributions both written and oral from interested persons, organisations, relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

He therefore directed that all memoranda should be addressed and directed to Clerk of the Committee.

The committee chairman noted that persons, organisations and MDAs wishing to make oral testimony should contact the Clerk, Mr Obey John on 08034550025 between 9.00am and 2.00pm at the State House of Assembly Complex at Okpanam road, Asaba.

According to him, the public hearing on the bill commence on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Press Centre.
