Okafor rallies support for NDC Senate bid in Delta North

A political advocacy message has called for purposeful and people-oriented representation in Delta North Senatorial District under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of future elections.
It stressed that true leadership is not built only during election periods, but through long-term sacrifice, consistency, service, and commitment to the growth of the people.
According to the message, Engr. Kingsley Okafor, an aspirant on the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has remained actively involved in grassroots mobilisation, political development, community support, and the advancement of progressive movements across Delta North.
It added that even outside elective office, he has continued to invest his time, resources, experience, and energy into initiatives aimed at promoting the collective interest of the people.
From supporting democratic participation to empowering structures and contributing to community-focused programmes such as educational support for less privileged children, the statement said his commitment to service has remained visible and consistent.
The message outlined what it described as the kind of representation Delta North needs, including leadership that is accessible to the people, focused on development, supportive of youth and women, and committed to economic growth.
It also emphasised the need for leadership passionate about education and human capital development, as well as strengthening infrastructure and expanding opportunities across communities.
“From Ndokwa to Ika, from Aniocha/Oshimili to every part of Delta North, the desire for credible, people-oriented, and forward-looking leadership continues to grow stronger,” the statement read.
It added that the push for better representation is already gaining momentum.
“The conversation has started, the movement continues,” it stated.
The message concluded by presenting Engr. Kingsley Okafor as a senatorial aspirant under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), saying his ambition is driven by the desire to provide purposeful representation for Delta North Senatorial District.
