Air Peace expands African routes

Air Peace has pledged to deepen its partnership with travel agencies as it prepares to launch four new regional routes to Bamako, Conakry, Douala and Libreville on August 1, 2026.
The airline made the commitment during its Travel Agency Forum, which brought together travel partners and industry stakeholders to discuss its regional expansion plans, business opportunities and efforts to improve air connectivity across Africa.
Speaking at the forum, Air Peace Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Nowel Ngala, said the new routes would strengthen connections between West and Central Africa, while supporting trade, tourism and business growth.
He also assured travel agencies of the airline’s continued cooperation, describing them as key partners in the success of its expanding regional network.
“You are ambassadors of the Air Peace brand. Every booking you make, every customer you advise, every itinerary you recommend and every passenger you entrust to Air Peace contributes directly to our success, ” he said.
Ngala made the statement during the Travel Agency Forum, where he praised travel partners for their role in helping the airline grow.
Ngala said Air Peace would continue to strengthen its relationship with travel agencies as the airline expands its presence across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
Representing the National President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA), the association’s Vice President, Lagos Zone, Mr Yinka Olapade, applauded Air Peace for expanding its international and regional operations.
He described the new routes as “a significant milestone” that would promote regional integration and create fresh opportunities for the travel industry.
Senior Vice President for Sabre Travel Solutions in Central and West Africa, Mr Allen Awosikunde, also congratulated the airline, saying the expansion would further improve connectivity across the region.
Mrs Funmilayo Ogunsanwo, Manager for Air Commerce at Travelport, said the additional routes would boost business opportunities, improve passenger access and generate more revenue prospects for travel agencies.
During the forum, Air Peace’s Domestic, International and Regional Sales teams highlighted the airline’s growing network, operational capacity, route performance and customer-focused services.
They also presented promotional initiatives and commercial opportunities linked to the new regional routes.
The event concluded with an interactive session where travel partners discussed the airline’s expansion plans, operational challenges, reservation options and future opportunities with Air Peace executives.
