Asake confirms May 1 release for new album

Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has announced that his fourth studio album, titled M$NEY, will be released on May 1, 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by a visual rollout video showing a marble sculpture of the singer being gradually carved, signaling the buildup to the project’s release.
Available details also indicate that the album is already open for pre-save on Apple Music ahead of its official launch.
The project will be distributed under EMPIRE Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc., continuing Asake’s partnership with the global music company.
According to information released around the project, M$NEY will feature 13 tracks. It is also expected to include previously released singles such as “WHY LOVE,” “BADMAN GANGSTA” featuring Tiakola, and “WORSHIP” featuring DJ Snake.
The tracklist reflects his continued blend of solo records and international collaborations leading into album releases.
The rollout comes after a sustained period of musical activity for the artiste, who has remained visible through both individual songs and joint projects in recent months.
His earlier 2026 collaboration with Wizkid also contributed to maintaining his presence in the global Afrobeats space.
Asake has become known for his fusion of Yoruba-inspired vocals with Afrobeats and Amapiano influences, a sound that has shaped his rise in the industry and earned him international recognition.
With M$NEY now officially scheduled, attention is shifting to how the project will expand his growing catalogue and streaming impact.
