Delta Dep. Gov. Onyeme condoles with lawmaker over wife’s death

Delta Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, commiserates with the member representing Ukwuani constituency, Mr Chukwudi Dafe, over the passing of his wife, Isioma Dafe, who died at 50.
The condolence visit took place at the lawmaker’s residence on wednesday in Asaba, where Onyeme expressed deep shock and sadness over the painful loss.
He described the late Mrs. Dafe as a strong pillar of support and a woman of admirable character, whose absence would; be deeply felt across Ukwuani and Delta.
Onyeme urged the grieving lawmaker to draw strength from the Almighty God during this period of immense sorrow and emotional pain.
“The loss of a soulmate is a pain that words can hardly soothe. Your wife was a devoted partner, mother, and companion to you and our people.
“While 50 years seems short in our eyes, we take solace in the impactful life she lived and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind,” Onyeme said.
The dep. gov. led a brief moment of reflection, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed.
In his response, Mr Dafe thanked the dep. gov. for the visit, describing it as a strong source of comfort to his family.
He noted that the show of support has helped ease their pain during this difficult and emotional period.
The visit drew several government officials, party stalwarts, and community leaders to the residence in solidarity.
