Tinubu mourns Kemi Adeosun’s husband, Anthony, at 62

 

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, and her family following the death of her husband, Anthony Adeniyi Adeosunj, who died on Wednesday at the age of 62.

In a condolence message issued on Thursday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President extended hisY sympathy to the Adeosun family, as well as the deceased’s friends and business associates.

Tinubu described the loss as painful and urged the family to draw strength from the life Mr Adeosun lived, particularly his commitment to faith, service and helping those in need.

The President noted the tributes and personal testimonies that have followed Adeosun’s death, highlighgiting the impact of his charitable activities and concern for less privileged members of society.

According to Tinubu, the legacy left behind by the late businessman should provide some comfort to those mourning him.

He prayed for God to strengthen Kemi Adeosun and other members of the family as they navigate the difficult period, while also asking the Almighty to grant the deceased eternal rest.

The President’s message comes as tributes continue to honour a man remembered for his Christian faith, community involvement and generosity towards vulnerable people.
