Netizens split over Edoho marriage drama

Social media users have remained sharply divided following the ongoing public fallout between popular television host Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, over allegations of infidelity and financial exploitation.
The controversy gained momentum over the weekend after an audio recording surfaced online in which Edoho allegedly claimed he repeatedly pleaded with his wife to end an affair with singer Chike.
The development has since triggered heated reactions across social media platforms, with supporters of both parties exchanging views over the collapse of the marriage.
Edoho and Onyenucheya were married in 2014 and have two children together before reports of separation emerged.
In response to the allegations, Onyenucheya denied having an affair with the singer, insisting she remained faithful throughout the marriage.
She also accused the media personality of infidelity, emotional abuse and neglecting his responsibilities as a father.
Sandra further alleged that she carried the financial burden of the household during their time together, claiming she funded their lifestyle as a couple.
However, Edoho rejected the allegations of irresponsibility and maintained that his wife’s alleged relationship with Chike contributed significantly to the breakdown of the marriage.
According to him, he made efforts to preserve the union for the sake of their children despite reportedly discovering evidence of the affair.
As the accusations and counter-accusations continued online, Nigerians on social media expressed varying opinions on the controversy.
Some users sympathised with Onyenucheya, arguing that many women endure emotional struggles in silence before eventually walking away from troubled marriages.
