Tantita Boosting Economy, Restoring Niger Delta Peace — Funkekeme

Senior Policy Adviser to the Delta State Governor and State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, has said the deployment of Tantita Security Services Limited to safeguard Nigeria’s critical oil infrastructure has significantly improved the nation’s economy while restoring peace across the Niger Delta region.

Speaking on Beyond The Headlines on TVC News, Solomon praised President Bola Tinubu for entrusting pipeline surveillance operations to the private security outfit led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.

He said the company’s operations have helped reduce crude oil theft, improve oil production, and boost revenue generation for all tiers of government, including federal, state, and local governments.

According to him, the presence of Tantita Security Services has also created thousands of jobs for youths across the Niger Delta, contributing to reduced insecurity and improved stability in oil-producing communities.

“There is peace in the region, oil is flowing properly, and many young people have been empowered,” he said, adding that the Federal Government’s confidence in the arrangement reflects growing trust in local solutions to regional security challenges.

Solomon also described Ekpemupolo as a key figure in the Niger Delta struggle whose involvement in pipeline protection has now translated into visible economic and security gains for the country.

He further commended the administration of President Bola Tinubu for what he described as reform-driven policies benefiting the Niger Delta, including support for regional development projects and institutions.

Defending ongoing economic reforms, Solomon argued that policies such as subsidy removal are necessary for long-term stability, saying they have freed up more resources for government at all levels and should be sustained to consolidate gains.

He warned against reversing key economic decisions, insisting that Nigeria requires policy continuity to achieve lasting growth and development.
